Autism Emergency Kit
The Autism Emergency Kit contains several forms that may be useful if you or your loved one with an ASD becomes ill, injured or wanders away from home.

AEKC

If you are a person with an ASD, or the parent, family member or caregiver of a person with an ASD, and you had an encounter with an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency, we'd love to hear about it!  Your story can provide valuable insight and information that we can't get anywhere else!  Understanding your perspective of an encounter, whether positive, neutral or negative, can help us develop materials to better educate EMS practitioners to respond to emergenies involving people with autism spectrum disorders.

Since understanding your story is more than completing a form, please complete the contact form.  We will get in touch with you by email or telephone to discuss your encounter in detail.  Note:  Please be patient, as AutismEMS relies on a small, core group of volunteers to maintain the site and collect research data.  It may be a few weeks before we contact you, but we will get in touch with you as soon as we can!

Please use the contact form to inform us of any links that do not function properly or suggest other links for inclusion.
