AutismEMS is an Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) preparedness resource for Emergency Medical Services practitioners of all levels, as well as other public safety personnel and healthcare practitioners that may deal with persons who have an ASD on an emergency basis, such as emergency department staff.  Desgined to supplement a structured, organized and education-based approach to autism preparedness, this site offers "real-world" information and approaches to the patient with ASDs, backed by medical evidence and best practices whenever possible.  You can learn more about our site, including our vision, mission statement and values by clicking "about this site."
